    Structure Description
    We designed this product with 3 layers Co-extruded: The surface layer is the protected layer, the middle layer is the core skeleton layer, and the bottom layer is the enhanced performance layer.

    The surface layer PMMA film has many advantages, such as excellent weather resistance and strong physical and mechanical properties. It is coated on the surface of the tile to resist various environmental threats, including ultraviolet rays, wind, acid, alkali, and salt substances. It enhances the structural stability of the tile under temperatures with frequent alternation of high and low ranges from -40°C to 80°C, ensuring a very low fading rate.

    The middle core skeleton layer is made of sodium silicate and nano-modified calcium. Sodium silicate provides excellent adhesion, granting the tiles superior tensile strength and toughness. Nano-modified calcium delivers a better plasticizing effect with fewer impurities, effectively improving the rigidity, toughness, finish, bending strength, processing performance, and dimensional stability of the tiles.

    The bottom layer varies slightly depending on the specific series product:

    • THE BASIC SERIES PRODUCTS: Added with toughness-enhancing materials.
    • THE HEAT-INSULATED SERIES: Added with thermal insulation properties.
    • THE ENHANCED HEAT-INSULATED SERIES: Coated with a PVC + FIBERGLASS + PVC "sandwich" layer as an additional heat-insulated layer.

    We suggest the roofing slope angle is between 20-80 degrees.

    Line installation should be arranged in advance to ensure a smooth and beautiful finish.

    Install purlins. Recommended purlin sizes: square tube (60mm*40mm*3mm), section steel (100mm*50mm*3mm), or wooden square (60mm*40mm). Metal purlins must be treated with anti-rust coating. Wooden squares must be treated for anti-corrosion. The space between 2 purlins should be less than 600mm. The uppermost purlin should be 150mm away from the roof ridge line to facilitate main ridge tile installation, and the lowermost purlin should be 50-70mm away from the eaves.

    Prepare the oblique gutter and flashing. Gutter size is determined by the project building size on site. Fix the oblique gutter onto the purlin.

    Install main tiles on the main roof slope. Use proper fixing tools. Use an electric drill to create holes, keeping the hole diameter 2mm larger than the screw. Tapping screws with a 6.3mm diameter are recommended. Do not overtighten. Tiles should be installed opposite to the local wind direction. Install both slopes simultaneously to ensure seamless main ridge tile placement.

    Install main tiles on the secondary roof slope. Set the centerline of the triangle slope as a benchmark. Install outward from the benchmark to both sides evenly. Cut along the hypotenuse of the triangle slope in preparation for installing the tilted ridge tiles. Ensure there are no visible gaps between the two slopes.

    To install the main ridge tiles, ensure sequential installation from one side to the other to avoid overlap issues on the two main sheets.

    Install the tilted ridge roof tiles. Tilted ridge tiles must be fixed directly to the main tile purlin. The overlap area for 2 tilted ridge tiles should be at least 90mm.

    Install the three-way ridge tile. Connect the three-side slope roofing. Fix it securely on the top of the main ridge and the 2 tilted ridges.

    Install the cover of the tilted ridge.

    Address any projections on the roofing and seal the joints properly.

    Install all eaves boards and the endcaps of the main ridge tiles.
