Product Description
Synthetic resin tiles are usually made of PVC resin as the main raw material. The structure typically includes the following three basic layers:
Upper layer:
It is a super weather-resistant ASA engineering resin with weather resistance, corrosion resistance, anti-aging and other properties. It has a strong coloring rate and low fading rate.
Middle layer:
A polymeric material usually made of polyvinyl chloride resin and other materials. In order to increase the product's toughness, impact resistance, load-bearing capacity, high and low temperature tolerance and other properties, it is the core that affects the service life.
Lower layer:
It is a heat-insulating and wear-resistant layer, the main material is polyurethane, etc. Its main function is to increase the durability and wear resistance of resin tiles, effectively prevent wear and tear during installation and use, and keep the tile surface smooth and beautiful.
The structural diagram of resin tiles may vary from different manufacturers and products, but usually includes the above three basic layers.
Classification
Characteristics
1. Light weight and Good load-bearing capacity
The density of synthetic resin tiles is relatively low, 3mm thickness, 5.6kg/sqm. It has good load-bearing capacity and there is no need to worry about cracking or deformation during installation.
2. Anti-corrosion and heat insulation
The surface layer of synthetic resin tiles is made of weather-resistant material ASA, which can resist sunlight and ultraviolet radiation well and has good anti-corrosion properties. Due to the addition of thermal insulation materials, it has good thermal insulation properties.
3. Good impact resistance and Low temperature resistance
Synthetic resin tiles have good impact and low-temperature resistance. A 1-kilogram steel hammer can fall freely on the tile surface from a height of 1.5 meters without causing cracks. After 10 freeze-thaw cycles, the product has no hollowing, blistering, peeling, or cracks.
4. Weather resistance and Long color lasting
The surface of the synthetic resin tile is covered with ASA high weather resistance protective film, which makes the tile have extraordinary weather resistance in the natural environment. Even if it is exposed to ultraviolet rays, moisture, heat, cold and impact for a long time, it can still maintain its color and physical properties. The color fading rate is just 5% in 10 years.
5. Installation saves time and Labor
Synthetic resin tiles have a large single area and do not require longitudinal overlap, which greatly reduces construction time and difficulty. Save a lot of labor costs for the user.
6. Environmental protection and B1 fire resistance
Synthetic resin tiles are made of environmentally friendly materials, so they will not cause any pollution to the environment. In addition, synthetic resin tiles also have good fire resistance, reaching B1 level.
Disadvantages:
Synthetic resin tiles will deform due to severe thermal expansion and contraction in environments exceeding 70 degrees Celsius and minus 30 degrees Celsius, causing water leakage.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the lifespan of synthetic resin tiles?
Synthetic resin tiles are designed for long-term durability and have a lifespan of approximately 20 to 30 years under normal natural environments.
What are the main layers of a synthetic resin tile?
They typically consist of three basic layers: the upper layer is weather-resistant ASA engineering resin; the middle layer is a tough, impact-resistant PVC polymer core; and the lower layer is a heat-insulating, wear-resistant polyurethane layer.
What is the fire resistance rating of synthetic resin tiles?
Synthetic resin tiles have excellent fire-retardant properties and reach a B1 fire resistance rating.
What roof slope range is suitable for synthetic resin tiles?
These tiles are highly versatile and suitable for roofs with a slope angle ranging from 20° to 80°.
Are synthetic resin tiles heavy to install?
No, they are lightweight. A tile with a thickness of 3mm weighs only 5.6kg per square meter, which makes installation quick, saves construction time, and reduces labor costs.
What are the temperature limitations for synthetic resin tiles?
In extreme environments where temperatures exceed 70°C or drop below -30°C, the tiles may undergo severe thermal expansion and contraction, which can lead to deformation and potential water leakage.
